i go round the highland games circuit every year and have started seeing more and more people wearing black shirts and vests/jackets. i've even seen pipe bands wearing this combo and i think it looks pretty damn cool.

i've done it myself in the past with my black argyle/vest and my darker (Muted) Davidson kilt.
