As much as I love the Royal blue I suspect you are right and the Navy blue would look better.

next question.....is used how?
Grey and blue making up the main checks, with smaller white and yellow stripes?

or blue and white main checks...like in traditional diced hose with grey and yellow stripes?

i'm thinking the first way....but what do i know?

yeah.....plain yellow or possibly white

Yellow, Gray, White or even Blue would work, depending on the hose worn with the outfit.
