Even the four Bues and two Greens are not exactly happy stories as they all suffered 8-9 month waits along with poor or no communications. Those turnaround times suck. You don't have to wait that long for either a Newsome or Tewksbury handsewn, probably the two most sought after kiltmakers with the longest ques and waitlists around. I don't see a lot of "happy happy joy joy" dances from those folks, except for obvious relief after they actually get thier merchandise.

Not a stellar performance record from CCC.

I did err on the generous side with the blues, didn't want to appear too anti!

Basically, if the poster got his kit in the same decade as it was ordered and didn't say "Never Again!" they went down as a blue. Relieved may have been a better description than happy.

I think that may be a very accurate assessment - but until it's wrapped around my fat belly.......it's

I know I have seemed naive and maybe over positive when it comes to my dealings with them. I am still hoping to get our kilts soon.

We got a call from Kevin at CCC last week saying the men's kilts were done and awaiting the ladies kilts which were to be done thise week and sent this week. I admit we were told in late May they were bing shipped the following week and that was not true, obviously. And I hate not knowing what is going on, it really bugs the heck out of me.

So currently I am awaiting them sending the kilts any day now and if they do then we can go to the blue color, that is happy right?

I know others who have ordered from CCC and were fine with just waiting until the product came and it did eventually, a week or so ago. I just like to know what is going on and would like to know the truth.

So I will keep you up to date and wish all those who are in the same spot I am the best of luck.

Na Heilthirich, thank you for the detailed play-by-play.

You could have adopted a child by now, or had sent by boat from another continent. Got it yet? How about now? How about now?

I got tracking numbers a few minutes ago, now I just need to know what to do with them? What web site do I use to track them?

Tony, I hope they just show up at your door today, anxious to hear your package comes and to see the pictures.
