First kilt: 16oz tank by Lochcarron in Buchanan Hunting Modern. Pic's to be posted after receiving my Fergusson Britt sporran in muskrat/black leather. I'll match them with my recently received charcoal grey Crail Jacket & Waistcoat from Matt and the other fine folks at STM. I can't wait!!!

Mine was a traditional red Mackintosh ordered from a local Scottish store in 1974 or so. I gave it to my dad several years ago and he wore it with great pride.

My first was a sportkilt, this is my first time kilted in public at the Texas Ren Fest

I thought I looked quite the business that morning, but by afternoon I was on the web ordering a SWK!

My first contemporary kilt was a black UK Workmans which has since gone on to another home. My first traditional styled kilt was my Black Watch SWK heavyweight.

I do not yet own a tank. Saving the money for my first tank is not really the problem. Deciding which of the many fine kilt makers to choose for my first tank is the problem.

My first kilt was a tank in MacGregor of Cardney (AKA MacGregor Hunting.) I ordered it through Celtic Craft's San Francisco store in 2003 (in those days, their quality and service was exceptional.)

Yes I know I'm wearing white hose too, I was young and needed guidance. It seems so long ago, those hose have been buried at the bottom of my hose drawer for quite some.
I dont get the whole anti-white hose thing?
