I wear heavy duty, thick hose as I've got no calf muscles! Skinny hose makes me look, well, skinny! Wear what you like. I'd be amazed if anybody would either notice, let alone care enough to say anything to your face! Slainte Bruce
"routinely heated debate about white hose in general" I have black, white and cream piper hose. I'm not a piper though... What if you wear the none color hose with boots like Catskill Mountain Moccasins, Bald Mountain, Sodhoppers, etc?
