    Rex,

    Here's my two cents

The handsome gent pulls off the look

The boots, belt, and UK all work together

The only thing that doesn't quite do it for me is the striped shirt. It seems too conservative to go with above items.

Now make it a collarless shirt in a solid color and we have a complete look.

    Cheers

I completely disagree. He needs one of those old fashion leather, motercycle helmits, and those little round riding goggles in addition to a solid color T-shirt.

I like that look. I throw mil-spec boots on with a lot of my informal attire. And it looks exceptionally well with that black UK.

I mean no disrespect to anyone, but I can see no merit in that outfit whatsoever.Sorry.

My humble apologies. I thought maybe you were still scrounging for the suggestion box.

Very well, then. Let's say that you were challenged and under contract to put together a contemporary outfit. No tweeds or tartans. What would your ensemble include? I'll see if I can get David into something that's more appealing to your tastes. You do, after all, have good taste.

    Regards,
    Rex.
