My brother is retired FDNY. Unfortunately, he now suffers residual lung damage from his 9/11/01 search/recovery service.

I awoke this morning thinking of this very thing and how just about impossible it would have been to avoid breathing in the combination's of everything after the building collapse. I just lifted your Brother up in Prayer.

ps~ I still can't look at photos or video footage of my 'Brothers at arms' during the 9.11 event. They're my Brothers, and I miss them.

Congratulations and thank you for your service. We see people on line and in person saying thanks to our military quite often, but very few think about thanking our firemen and police officers as well, except right after 9/11.
