Add my prayers to those already listed.

Who's the understudy Mender, until the real one is back on post?

Prayers from another survivor--make that victor--oer the old Myo cat. We are not victims but victors.

Tell him I, too, sent best wishes, and that this can come in handy if he plays his cards right. (Cough, cough. Could you get me a beer? I've been sick you know.)

Well, I guess beer might be out for a while, but red wine does have those nitrites or whatever the stuff is that's good for your ticker.

The real trick is to laugh loud and often--especially at yourself. Of course, laughing at yourself comes more easily for some of us! Personally, I just look in the mirror.

FREE AT LAST, FREE AT LAST
I have escaped pri...been released from the hospital today so unfortunantly Grant will not have the free reign he was planing. Some things I have learned................if it is adhesive they will place it somewhere with hair, also if one sticky thing is good 47 of them is better. The food services group can mess up powedered eggs even worse then the military. On the same note thier definition of food DOES NOT match what you have learned food is (did the get a deal on lima beans by the carload). You CANNOT get ANY rest in a hospital they will even wake you up for a sleeping pill. Don't even get me started on "Vlad the Impaler" otherwise known as the lab tech. However on a happier note we are winning there is a nurse at one of the hospitals here that wears a Utilikilt Workman on the floor, maybe I started something when I wore one of mine there when I was having my bionic knee installed in march. I guess what I wanted to say is think all you for the kind thoughts, prayers, smoke you have sent it means more than you know.

Well, aw-right! so good to see you busted out of that joint. Man, do we say powerful prayers around here, or what!

My extended stay taught me that only a few things are important:
    1. Patience
    2. Family
    3. Friends
    4. Attitude (gallows humor is the very best!)
    5. Nurses--God love 'em.

So very good to know you're out of stir and on the mend.

    Got stints?

Yes he is!!!!!!!!! the WeaselMender is back on the job indeed, A wiser Weasel too I must add. I just barely qualified for the heart attack club, the one artery with any blockage was so small that the Dr. was unable to do an angioplasty or install a stint because they do not make them that small, but it was a "shot across the bow" that will not be ignored. I will be spending much more time at the gym and eating a whole lot better. What will that mean for Grant, a new, leaner, more powerful, and much meaner Ens. Mender will shortly be appearing over the horizon to put the kibosh to your neferious plans! OBTW Grant have you patched the arrow holes in the Maple Leaf yet I need some archery practice

I'm sure that this is not the first time you've heard this. Think back, teen years, pharmacist stifling a chuckle, the new cheerleader girlfriend with the "uh-oh" expression on her cute little face.
