What? 17 hours is too long to drive?

I just heard today that they are having so many pro and amatuer atheletes signed up that they're having to spread out the competition, and they have 22 pipe bands coming. They've doubled the number of grandstand seats, and have 5 bands for entertainment. They've also added a second camping area separate from the original, for a quieter atmosphere for those that so desire.

Hello Jamais.

My wife and I will pull into the campground on Friday and leave Monday. Look for the Travel Star with a Scottish flag or two. Stop in for a wee dram.

And any other XMarker that comes by!!!

We'll be there on Saturday. Remember to meet at the STM tent right after the opening ceremonies, and bring cameras so we can post group shots here.

Not sure if I'll be there or not. No one else in the family seems to be able to make it, so either I'll drive down for the day on Saturday or miss it altogether.
