Definitely is a bit annoying to see a grown man wearing a kilt likes its a short skirt or wearing a homemade bed sheet down past mid shins. I do not get too caught up in this of course. I know everyone is just trying to enjoy themselves but still, I do wish people would try just little bit harder sometimes.

I think a kilt worn too low and hose worn too high is an abomination

I used to say almost the exact same thing about the girls at St. Catherine's Convent School...

I think I should apologize to the Scottish members of the forum: a kilt apology. I tried, and never really got it quite right. I'm a little bit embarrassed about it all.
I voted against myself, in this case.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

My favorite is the bearded guy wearing the kilted skirt down to his ankles.

That's probably this guy. There's a reason he wears it long

Okay. I'll admit, that's pretty funny.

GOOD call Travis! There is probably a reason I keep falling in with girls with teaching degrees who went to Catholic school.
Epic win, Turpin!

I hate to say this.....but its the eccetrics that make the Games fun, besides going for the pipers and the Games...
I have to say at the Texas Highland Games, a few of us XMarkers were commenting on the fact, you can almost always pick out the XMarks people, because of the way we dress...
Ok Ok... I do not care for the guy wearing the mini kilt.... I will live with the poofy shirts and sandals.. the sport socks with the flash worn at the knee, while the sock ends at he calf....the moccasin wearing wanna be Willy Wallace crowd.... the guy with the White hose and tennis shoes.... these guys are the constant reminder why XMarks has benefited me...
