The 84th RoF RHE's & my 3,000 post!
As the start of this photo thread will be my 3,000 post on XMTS, I thought I'd commemorate it in a special manner by paying homage to a fine group of men who are friends & comrades of mine in the Brigade of the American Revolution.
The following photos have been supplied to me over time by the commander & adjutant of the recreated 2nd Battalion of the 84th RoF the Royal Highland Emigrants (Nova Scotia), and I have been given kind permission as a member of the 84th family to share them as I see fit, so I thought the rabble might like to see the kilt etc, worn by some gentlemen who have gone to great lengths to authentically recreate the look of this proud regiment & their ancestors (the majority of the members of this unit in Nova Scotia can trace their genealogies to actual serving members of the regiment from the Rev War era). Many of their local events also take place on the actual sites their ancestors served in as well!
Anyhow, I've gone on long enough. I hope you all enjoy the photos!
