For this Welsh Festival I decided to dude it up. The Welsh claim St. Patrick was one of them being captured in Britain on the coast by Irish marauders taken form his native land and sold into slavery in Ireland. Therefore, I wore my St. Patrick tartan Newsome box pleat. I have a nice pewter Celtic Cross that I wear as a kilt pin. #80 Thorfinn sporran. XMarks the Scot Clan badge that I wear in my kilt buckle.

At the VA Games, I visited The Scottish Trading Company to pick up a couple of cotton Scottish hose. They are perfect for our hot and humid weather. I couldn’t resist a red pair which I teamed up with a pair of white garters from the gift shop at the Scottish Tartans Museum. Pair of cordovan Florsheim brogues.

The necktie was picked out in deference to Jock Scot’s post in the thread, XMarks Tie. Jock had suggested a club stripe of dark blue and yellow. I had one in my amoire. Grey tattersall shirt. Lovat green tweed jacket which I acquired at the For Sale forum. Beneath the jacket is my kilt belt from Oconee Leather Works. Not shown here but seen later my topper was Ferguson Brit bonnet also from the gift shop at the Scottish Tartans Museum.

As I pulled away from home, I realized I was hungry and thirsty and facing me was a couple of hours of manning the Fredericksburg Scottish Society table. So I my way I stopped by the British Pub to fortify myself.
