    Billiant. Devious but brilliant!
I've found that most relationships work best when no one wears pants.

About arranging to have one's sporran patted. Devious indeed!

    Quid pro quo:

"Why sure lass, ye're welcome tae pet MY beaver if. . ."

This is the one I got, from Ferguson Britt:

"It's all the same to me, war or peace,
I'm killed in the war or hung during peace."

Nice sporran...I've had my eye on one of his bobcat sporrans, but the beaver is really nice looking too!!! I suppose I could modify your line replacing "beaver" with "kitty".

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Difference between most of your confessors and us is guilt! They confess in private because of guilt; we do in public because of pride. Reminds me of a joke about an old Jewish man who gets lucky with a 22 year old redhead and goes to confession. Priest asks him "So if you're Jewish, why are you telling me?" Jewish man says "I'm not! Father, I'm telling everyone I run into!"

And my point is made for me... Thank you, AZ!

So you see, moral here is- you can not be shy and a kilt wearer at the same time.
"Two things are infinite- the universe, and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." Albert Einstein.
