    Superb file work drac and that damascus blade is turning out a treat, sorry to hear about the exploding light. I know the feeling well when you re-organise your shed and the very thing you want is the one thing you can't remember to where you re-located it.

    While I am late to the party on this thread--work, travels, mundane stuff--I just have to say that the file work alone made this worth the read. I was trying to figure out why you had run the first file work all the way up the handle, and then I saw the work with the wood and the obvious vine and thorn motif, and I was awed.

    Thanks for showing what obviously takes a lot of work and prctice. That has passed beyond "craft" and into the realms of art.

    Great work! I've always loved the look of both damascus and ivy file work, and this has beautiful representations of both!
