I'm afraid, it is. On the Mountain Hardwear site it disappeared almost a year ago. And now dealers have obviously sold out.

    Re: Elkommando Kilt Gone

Outdoor performance clothes, except running shorts, are seasonal. I was part owner or an outdoor clothing and gear store. We bought in spring buying shows for fall and winter. In fall we bought for spring and sunner. Companies made a run of stock and when it was gone it is gone. I got one of the last Elkommandos this Sept. If they feel it was a.popular line it will be back, perkaps with new colors. Companies like Mountain Hardwear do listen to feedback. So come spring start looking on REI, Moose Jaw and other retail outlets.

All typos are blamed on my big thumbs and small Android keypad.

Ill be posting some Mt Baker climb photos, wearing my Elkommando, this week.

OK, I will be looking for them. I love my Elkommando for hiking too.

    Re: Elkommando Kilt Gone

I have moved this over to the for sale section where it should have been to start.
    http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...ts-free-71503/

I have 3 Mountain kilts and 9 Elkommandos, some new, some almost new that I no longer wear. I snapped up a bunch when I heard they were going away and I was using them at the time.
I'll give them away for the cost of postage because they are just collecting dust now.

In the Mountain Kilts I have 3 small, 2 are new in bag.

In the Elkommando - small, I have 4, 2 are new in bag.

In the Elcommando - medium, I have 4, 1 is new in bag.

The small is 30 waist / 36 hip and the medium is 32 / 38 according to their size chart.
I'm clearing out shelf space and I don't think the Salvation Army store could use them as kilties are so rare here.

UPDATE - All of the mediums are already spoken for before I killed my first cup of coffee this AM! No one has needed the smalls in either style. Come on you other buttless guys. For reference the smalls fit about the same as my 32 inch Utilikilts that I also wear on my hipbones.
Obviously Mountain Hardware messed up dropping these especially the Elkommandos

The used ones still look new as, of course - Murphys law, I found and fell in love with the Utilikits about two months after I bought these Mountain Hardwares.

Drop me a line here or at tundramn@q.com and I'll ship the ones you want out to you until they are gone.

No problem on cost of shipping as I'm clearing out shelf space and I don't think the Salvation Army store could use them as kilties are so rare.

Unfortunately not my size, I use my two ELkommando's daily. You mentioned Salvation army. Well you may look on the Goodwill auction web site and see if you are near a Goodwill that uses it. www.shopgoodwill.com is their site and the auction donations. I have seen a few kilts and utilikilts there from time to time. Too bad on the size, I would snatch them up from you. Best of luck in finding people to take these. They are great for hiking and running.

    Re: Elkommando Kilt Gone

I'm definitely going to pick one up - new or used.
