I understand...sometimes the USPS makes life more interesting than it needs to be. I figgered that if and when it gets here it will get sent out by that Priority Box service (either domestic or foreign)...that seems to work quickly and efficiently and it's a flat rate depending on the size box you use.
By the way...maybe I'm a bit out of the loop on this but how are we exchanging addresses for this project? Not quite sure how to get the info to whoever will be sending it on to me and not sure what the sequence is...?

I'll be attending a Burns Night in St. Louis on Feb. 18...it would be nice to have the scarf in Missouri by then, but no worries if it can't be here.

When you get the scarf, there's a list of people who want to host it, inside. Check yourself off the list...and look it over. PM someone who seems like a likely "next person" and get their mailing address....send it off! It would probably be best if it makes the rounds of North America before going back to the Continent or the UK, seeing as it takes a long time to make the trip.

I'll be attending the Las Vegas Rugby 7s this coming weekend.
I might possbily see quite a number of Welsh Rugby Scarves there. I would take yours along if I had it.
By the way, what songs/tunes are sung/played to support Wales?
Cheers! Richard

Okay, you scarfinados. The baton is passing to our next recipient as soon as the first truck leaves the post office today. Where is it going? In keeping with Alan's tradition of lyrical cluification:
The opening shots
That tied us in knots
First rumbled outside of town
And the battle will rage
In his cranial cage
Till his rakish aspect stays down.
His lovely young bride
remains by his side
In spite of the monster within.
His name says it all:
The rise and the fall
And when we see it begin.
A gent while in pants,
I'd wager he can't
Endanger all he has built--
But watch that all fly
From his rascally eye
As soon as he puts on his kilt!
I know I've got it backwards...no pictures from my visit yet--I just wanted to make sure I had a quick turnaround. I'll sift through my less-than-stellar selection and post them while the scarf makes its way to the next stop. I made the best of the visit...unfortunately the storm in our area completely trashed my plans for an outdoor tour. But, then again, it really isn't about me, anyway. That's a tough pill.
Cheers, and hope we all get a chance to put our hands on the scarf!

Great pictures LitTrog...
So, you're getting into tossing heavy stuff?!?!?! Welcome to the addiction! I've found it to be the one sport where your competition gladly offers tips and pointers freely, to help make you a better competitor. Not to mention that alcohol is considered a "legal", and sometime mandatory, performance enhancing drug. Maybe we'll see you at the games somewhere.

I agree. A few months ago my wife added a love spoon to my ever growing list of things to do around here. I really need to get started on one soon.
