2:30 on Saturday is unfortunately the time of the whisky tasting that I've got tickets for so I'll likely miss the rabble photo Hope to meet some of you during the weekend though. Wear your dandelions!

(And I was hoping to debut my 5.11 TDK at the games but it didn't arrive today so I'll be wearing my Blackwatch.)

    See you at Loon!

Had a great time at the games! My girls and wore Buchanan, my wife wore a sash of MacLaren. She only recently learned of her roots, so it was a real eye opener to have other folks come up and talk like old friends upon seeing her tartan. She even tried haggis! If you asked, one of her favorite bits was learning of the rivalry between our clans.
Just a fantastic day. Dave, you have pictures of me and my girls.

I hope she had a chance to meet her Clan Chief MacLaren of MacLaren. I spoke with him several times. A real gentleman.

My family and I had a great time at the games. Unfortunately I missed the X Marks photo as I was being seduced by the folks from the Laphroaig distillery at the whisky tasting on Saturday afternoon, but it was good to meet some of you during the weekend.

Here are a couple of photos:

My family and I had a great time at the Games. It was nice to meet everyone at the meet up and to put some faces to the names.

I am very sorry to say I did not make the meet-up. It was a wonderful time. I was performing for my first time in my band's competition. Looking at the photo of massed bands I can tell where I am - I had the big red bass drum. (Not up to par on pipes yet) Working with my band was great but it pretty much ate up my time. By the way, I saw Buchanan tartan everywhere I looked it seemed. Great distinctive colors.

For me it was a great new experience. Looked for Tess, saw Patti Smith. Anyone going to Scotland CT? Coming up fast.

Buchananbiker and his girls visit his clan tent

A few of the many XMarks Rabble who were in attendance

Because you can never have too much tartan!

Sometimes the view from below can be as thrilling as that of above :0

Very nice photo! You must be very proud, and rightly so!

Hey watch it there! They were actually very well behaved. It's the boys you have to watch.
By the way the MacTavish had a very nice double tent in the Clan Village and a good showing. Not as good as ours of course but a close second.
