The Most Scottish Town in the U.S.A.

There is a teeny tiny town in Eastern Oregon called Athena. It is smack dab in the middle of a wheat field north of Pendleton. They host a wonderful games and their high school band is a pipe band. I'm sure it won't make the list for "most Scottish" but given its size and location, it surely deserve an honorable mention.

It funny I see this thread now because it just so happens I'm about to start on a research paper on the settlement and colonization of Georgia by Scottish settlers, specifically in the town of Darien, Georgia, for my first year experience class Georgia in Focus.

I would be remiss in not mentioning our own Scotland, Connecticut which really doesn't have much Scottish about it other than the name and the very nice one day Highland Games they will host this weekend. But it is a very pretty old Colonial town in Eastern Connecticut with a great name.
