Sometimes I go regimental but if I am going to wear anything, I go for the slip briefs as per Robbie's post (something we agree on Robbie!).

However, I did buy a pair of cheap white cotton boxers and my wife wrote the words "Perv!" on the back of them using fabric paint. I wear them if I'm going somewhere in my kilt where I think I'm likely to get "checked". The person doing the checking gets the message without me having to say a word!!

    Cheers
    David.

David, I like that. I'll have to keep the Perv idea in mind

Great avatar. Is that a drawing of you? Any story behind it?

    Al'
Yes, that is a drawing of me, done by some drifter from Germany who, despite his great artistic ability, was a royal pain in the **** who wouldn't leave me alone. Haven't seen him in a few years. I was reading a book at the time of the drawing, hoping that he would take the hint that I was completely ignoring him, but he insisted on sticking around and drawing that picture, which turned out to be rather impressive, but it didn't make him any less annoying. Oh well.

A thong? Al, what was the point of that? I would expect something better from a kilt wearer of your calibur. Why discover the comfort of a kilt, so that you can floss your butt checks with some cotton? At least it was only once.

Boxer briefs - you know the Calvin Klein type. I ususally wear black ones with my kilt. Their less obvious than white ones if someone gets a look up yer kilt!

Boxer Brief. I like to disappoint the ladies out there. I just don't wanna give them the pleasure.

    why bother?

    Personally, I ALWAYS go regimental.
So far, I've only had the pleasure{or misfortune, depending on the checker} of being checked a half dozen times or so, and{so far} only when wearing my Clan Tartan.
Luckily for me, all checkers so far, have been curious young women with little or no experience of men in kilts...
I don't get embarassed, so this isn't a problem for me, but it has led to some very interesting conversations with ladies I would never have met, had I not been Kilted.
I shall continue to wear nothing but boots and socks under my kilt...and enjoy the freedom that comes with it.
