So, caught up in some madness on this forum a month or two back, I got hold of this:

My midlife crisis hasn't involved fast cars and loose women, but I did get hold of this bad boy a couple of weeks ago (94 year old, Singer 128k hand crank; sews leather, aluminium and hands with ease - no plastic was harmed during the making of this machine 
):
