Rufus, it seems there are various types of Black Watch and I wasn't real sure even tho the piccie was on the USAK site.
But I am very happy with the result. The BW tartan is close to plain and dark while being still very tartan. A good one for me.
It is close to my Morrison kilt from Southern celt, which I keep for best, but the poly viscose means I will 'knock around' in it more.

Um, sorry David, but I don't think you'll be the next great white wonder like Eminem.

Yeah, Graham.... Let's see the back! Show off those pleats! I didn't spend hours on sewing that thing up for you to just show the Front Apron!
We want pleats!

"Give us the pleats, Tassie, or the pretty dog gets it!"
Note: I'm doing my best to look menacing/threatening while writing this, like a bad TV gangster. I'm also writing dumb stuff so that I can reach post 600 by the end of the day.

I would say that that is hard to do with the picture of Wallace and Gromit. Where's Blu's mean looking dog (or was that dong?)?

You lot really do crack me up!! I'll get the piccie posted asap.
Actually the pleating is one of the nicest parts of the kilt, I do like 4 yarders, but there is no way they swing like an 8 yarder!!
I love the tradional sewing of the pleats down from the waistband too, a truly good job.
David, ease back on the whisky mate, just as one friend to another, it makes you talk funny (I know!!)

Very handsome you look in your new kilt, Graham. It surely suits you. So glad that you are pleased with it!

Thank you kelly, my ego just got a lot bigger
Kilts are confidence builders on their own, but your kind words are the 'icing on the cake'. Bless your heart. Did you make this one, or Rocky?
