I have a copy of Johnny Cash singing "You Are My Sunshine." This is from back in the early days of Sun Records.
I am a strong tough guy... But hearing that makes my eyes all watery for some odd reason.
I broke down and cried when I heard that Mr. Cash had gone silent.
I am very much upset over the fact that one of his last songs will probably never be released. He did a cover of Nirvana's "Come As You Are." I can only imagine how he took that song and made it his. He did a great job with "Hurt" and "Break My Rusty Cage."

Graham, Roy Orbison-- Last Kiss...you are showing your age!
Bet you like Those old late 50's love songs too don't ya..
Not really John, I'm more of a 60's kind of guy. I was a real Beatles fan (still am), but it's celtic that really excites me now.

DrDouglass, I admired Johnny Cash as a man and fine one at that, it's just country music I have an aversion to. I was sad when he passed away, Roy O too, I guess we all die, but some passings are really a tragic loss to this world.

He did so much more then "Country"
He wanted to be remembered as a mucisian, not crammed into a genre. He covered so many music styles. He was the Voice of America. A true melting pot.

I don't think you are ignorant. Infact, I would venture to say the sort of men educated and ballsy enough to wear kilts probably has better taste in music then most.
I personally, have no idea what to call Johnny Cash's music as a whole.
And Roy Orbison moves me in ways I do not fully understand.
I am one of those rare people that will admitt that I liked the Traveling Wilburys. Good stuff actually.

Graham,
Beautiful sign. Truly a "sign" of the times.
(sorry for the late response, but it took me that long to come up with something reasonably clever to say)

Thanks Rigged, actually it was no challenge, Rocky gave me the design so I didn't have to think (it makes my head hurt).
Without the internet and email, doing such a sign over the distance in such a time would be difficult, much like making kilts I guess.

THE CURE!!!!!! The 80's were my childhood and I can't stand The Cure, I would rather listen to the b-52's or even better my man Billy Idol.
ROb Wright
(I have a soft spot for cheesy 80's music )

HOPEFULLY this sign has people lining up around the block.
No Johnny Cash ?!!! What kind of sweatshop are you working in?
At least you've got a cool shirt to go with your kilts.
