Are you sure you weren't a Mormon missionary?

Wow I'm a sensible old fart! Don't worry about trying to keep it secret, anyone who knows me will think you're deluded if you use my name and the word sensible in the same sentence! As to "old fart"? Age has a habit of doing that to you. Just wait your day is coming! Have a great time at your party, I look forward to seeing the pictures.

    Dear old farts:

I was unable to procure a camera, but I'm reasonably satisfied that I've got things together.

I got some new shoes [GST rebate cheque! Late!] that are the same colour as my belt, and that makes me happy.

So the semi-final score is thus:

    Shoes: shiny mahogany suckers
    Hose: Muted green
    Kilt: Maple Leaf tartan
Belt: Mahogany, with patented Big Beetle Buckle
    Shirt: Short-sleeved [Gasp!] white
Tie: As near as I can reckon, also mahogany
    Sweater: Muted green

Obviously, the sweater goes over the shirt&tie, until it gets too warm.

    The remaining question is:

    1) Black flashes, or flashes made from leftover maple leaf tartan? Something else?

If a camera appears before I head out tomorrow night, I'll still try to get a pic up like I said.

Thanks again to all for the help and suggestions.

Thanks to all for the advice and help. The evening was a success and then some. Today at work, a lot of people I didn't get to talk to saturday night came and complimented me on my kilt. Though it turns out that a lot more of them came to compliment me on my date, which ended with me being really annoyed with having to say "She's just a friend" a million times over.

That smile of hers is going to land her in a world of trouble soon, and often.

Good advice or no, you're still all old.

Well! At least you had the decency to cover up the short sleeves with a sweater.
