I spend a lot of time looking at the user profiles up there at the index just to see what people are reading. I watch the threads float by at the index and over there where the new posts are listed for the forums... Sometimes I'll make a post and leap over to the index just to see the thread come up.

I used to hang out way back there where they have all the doors to the forums and a list of people on line, but I kind of like the index. I'll also go in my own profile and down the link to all my threads and just kind of stand there looking at which ones I've posted in last... It's kind of a quiet place too.

Ted, you seem to have a contemplative nature and a reflective peace of mind that I envy. Your garden must be an interesting place.

It's a jungle back there! Really, there's vines and tall grass up in and around the citrus trees. All just on a small scale. I even have six kitty tigers roaming around in the tall grass. Out front there's a bunch of cacti and a rock garden. Between those is my humble aluminum ehem cottage, or hut if it sounds better.

I make whimsical ceramic sculptures, and that probably effects my mental state. I have to spend a lot of time looking, so to speak, at little toy plastic animals and thinking about how the animals move. When I could see, I would draw cartoons, I was a little kid, and even made crude flip page type animations. Guess that's just my world.

What a weekend, I barely have been able to expend the effort to do the homework that I have to turn in Monday, the flu sucks.

Boy, it's kind of a relief that that "Kilt Pin Science" thread out there has degenerated into maddness and skientific jibberjabber... I'm on my second call for a group hug in that one. I managed to get the propeller beanie and spinning bowtie questions posted there, and a huge burden has been lifted from me.

I hope String is getting to feeling better.

Sometimes I like sitting by that window over there late in the evening and just listening to the outside. Oh, I'm talking about the one in my front room. It's nice when it gets quiet late in the evening. Out in the real world, not in the real forum that is. It's not completely quiet, but it's interesting for some reason to hear a car or two way off out there... a dog barking. Things like that, you just listen for a while.

String is feeling... possibly better, but I'm freezing and it's really quite warm. I must go to class however, and soldier through.

Sounds like the chills... Hope you're fever breaks and you get to feeling better soon. Oddly, I had a dream last night that you were trying to explain knitting to someone. Go figure on that one... Who would have thought you knew how to knit. Take care String.

I just realized that I've been almost making posts today, then just letting it go. I feel much more comfortable talking about oatmeal cookies than all the things that matter.

    Ahhh, carpe diem and cookies.

Although, I had some really good pig ribs this evening. Used Cavender's Greek Seasoning as a rub... Came out good.
