--Thanks, but actually my job puts the food on the table. She manages the business and the website and I actually work for free. I'm her Customer Resource Manager and I deal with customers. She runs the show with the kilts, privacy policy, and most other aspects. As orders pick up, we'll increase the price. One of the best parts about King Kilts is getting guys into kilts who could either a) never afford one or b) never fit other company's expectations. Andrea's big dream is to write the great American novel.

    Back to mainstreaming kilts.

I really like the UK Mocker as a replacement for slacks in the office. I like that the "funny" apron arrangement has weight that insures it will drop easily and preserve modesty without a sporran.

I like that it appears business dressy. The prices aren't that much different than a sportjacket. Of course I'm in the warm part of the world where a mocker can be worn to the office with a dress shirt, tie, kilt hose, and wingtips etc.

I've often wondered why UK doesn't market to the office market more...that would be mainstreaming as much as marketing to the construction industry etc.

The tradtional Business enviornment is not a easy market to target because of the gatekeepers of the corporate world. These gate keepers are not easy to change and they just don't the concept of business casual or people pushing their boundary.

But, I am doing my share to challenage these people.

    A-HA! You're a visionary!

Good on ya. If she likes what she's doing, then that's a good deal. I mean, it's worth a lot to be able to look forward to your work day, everyday.
