She is my SCD teacher, we were off to a Burns Supper in another city. She accompanied me because my wife was out of town.
I now jokingly refer to her as wife No.2 (my wife doesn't like that joke, Australians have no sense of humour)

I suspect that the Jacobite shirt is a result of someone going to a sewing person and describing what was wanted, and the sewer, perhaps being used to the glam rock sort of gear that I made and wore in the early 70's found a similar pattern and made one - without the gathered sleeve top - added the lacing in imitation of Richard Green's Robin Hood to make it 'authentic' and there you have the Jacobite shirt.
