    Thumbs up

Tip of the bonnet to Jerry Stillwater for increasing our options for a Saffron Kilt at a reasonable price. It sure looks like a winner to me!

Ah, ya dirty bugger! Just had to go and post this didn't you? But I can resist, yep, not gonna do it (this week).

Geez, I keep buying stillwaters I'm never gonna get my tank, and I really want a tank. Of course Stillwater could be considered a poor man's tank......

    Thumbs up Got one

The shadow tartan is cooler in this color that in the black...
The weight surprised me... very heavy... great color...
IMHO, rating quality/cost, it is easily on the top shelf.
    Maybe some pics after Sunday.

Now I just have to find some matching flashes... ;)

    The Weathered Lamont

I kept waffeling between this saffron and the Weathered Lamont and finally opted for the later. It arrived yesterday and is my first wool kilt. I really love it, but it seems to be about a half inch longer than the standard SWK's that I own, so I have to wear it a bit higher up.
I think any kilts I order in the future will just have to be wool. It's pretty awesome.

Does anyone have both of these? I have the W.L., and I'm interested to know how the relative weight of the fabrics compare.
