I think it goes well with the Black Watch kilt and I'll bet it goes quite fine with many other tartans as well!
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

I have a few jackets I picked up at the thrift store.
I need to get to work!!!! But in the 95 (F) heat and 80-90% humidy, I find motivation to do so quite hard.

DD, I really like it. It makes a HUGE difference.

In my pre-cut test pins, I have had difficulty in getting the curve right, but I don't have a pattern to use either, just pics.

Is there anyone in upstate South Carolina, or near by, that I can borrow a jacket from to use as a pattern for the curve? Best I can tell, I wear a 46/48 Long (I found a tag in one of the thrift store ones-> I just try one on til I find one that fits-> if one even does) IF so, PM me!!!

I dont have a pattern for the curve I just draw by hand until it looks right, but you need to cut it to length first allowing some material for a hem all round I allow just over an inch

I know this would be asking a lot but if by chance you do this again would it be possible to photograph the process to post? It sure would help to see how it is done for those of us with a handful of thumbs.

    Cheers! Bill
Will try the next Jacket we do
