While on the subject of haggis... I'm a bachelor this weekend and thought I'd grab some (since the wife don't like it...). Anyone know of a place to get decent haggis in Dallas, TX. Seriously. Stop laughing.

I can't say that I've had haggis, although looking at the ingredients I'm not sure that's such a bad thing... I'll have to try it one day though, just to say I have.

You might try www.caledoniankitchen.com they are located around the Dallas area. On there website they have a page of local retailers of their haggis products.

Funniest thing that happened to me kilted was some years ago when I went to take pictures at a Burns Dinner and I was a stranger to most people in the room. I was standing by the door minding my own business when a lady came over to me (no it's not one of THOSE stories) and said "I'd like you to play over there". I said "Pardon ?" and she said "You are the piper aren't you". She must have thought I had my pipes in my camera bag ! In the end two pipers turned up (they had double booked) and they played a duet - brilliant !
The Kilt is my delight !
