Ditto.
If oushes, I'd say this one, simply because it's comfortable and just the right temperature in all weathers.
Macdonald of the isles ancient muted (With a dress stripe added that's not usual on those. I had to take it to a rare tartan dealer to get it identified after I bought it.)

Difficult to call any particular kilt a favourite - some are more comfortable than others; some make the wearer feel good because they ooze quality; some are just a nice tartan that goes with a good variety of other clothes. What swings it here though in favour of my work wear kilt is that this is the kilt which transported me from wearing the kilt as costume to weddings and country dancing, to wearing it as an everyday garment. My wife gave me this one for Christmas 2002, 8 yard, all black 16 oz, built by a local kiltmaker here in the Scottish Borders. At the time I thought I would only ever wear it to church and to funerals. This particular kiltmaker only puts a single buckle on each side, so when I injured my leg in January 2003, it was an easy matter to strap this round myself to go into the office. Wearing a kilt was so well received by colleagues and the public whom I had to deal with and I realised I'd been missing out on this comfort for years.

My favourite is either my:
8-yard Handsewn 16 oz Ancient Watson
or
the Weathered MacKenzie 16 oz 8-yard that should be in progress.
Now I just need to add a Maple Leaf kilt to the collection and I am done ordering for a long time.

This kilt is awesome, and it should probably outlive me, so I'm glad I'll have something to pass down.

My favourite one is my only one. My modern Grant tank. I had it made in 2000 by the Celtic Craft Centre in San Francisco.

Looks like an Ebbetts Field Flannel replica on top.
