I could not make it, though I am online in spirit with those that did. I am meeting my brother in law (Furman faculty member) for camping in NC mountains (Curtis Creek) and asked him if he bought his kilt yet. Furman does have its own tartan, a beautiful purple one. Perhaps that might be in my future?

Whent friday and saturday (today )to the games with oldest daughter had a blast but it was just so hot.Feet hurt from walking so much lol .Only took one child this time instead of three got to enjoy it more actually got out of Wee Scotland (the kids area ).Got some good pictures of the pipers/drummers competitions and daughter had to get picture took with all the members of Albannach again.Saw a few of you guys there meet a few xmarks guys this weekend didnt know really except from here and that was nice.Ill get them on disk and try to load them here so people can see what we all see over the last two days.Son didnt go stayed with nana so no kilt pictures of him although still have film so ill take some (with my kilt I made him)yeah.

I was at the games yesterday but I got there late and missed the 11 oclock get together where I believe 8 X Markers met and had a photo call. I met Mat Newsome and Ken (the Fluter) Sallenger at the Tartan Museum tent then spent the rest of the day at the games without meeting any X Markers. I hope to have more luck at Grandfather Mountain games.

It was a great day even though it was a bit hot.
