Hello from NYC

Greetings to all! I'm another new member of this forum, located in the Big Apple. I got my first kilt about a year ago, and have made several friends who also enjoy going kilted.

I don't have any Scotish in my background, rather, have ancestry from the Celtic part of Spain, which accounts for my handle here. They wear a different garment, but a kilt looks a lot better to me, and--so I'm told--ON me.

Btw, my first kilt was in the NYC tartan, which I'm currently pushing the City Council of New York to adopt officially. I encourage any one else in this area to express support of it, once it's formally on the Council's agenda. I'll post the details as they emerge.
