I just got a Buzz Kidder a couple of days ago, and I love it. I got the Rob Roy- ribbed, with tassels and a plain flap. It's made with soft, supple, sturdy leather. It has an amazing capacity. I'm still trying to figure out how much junk I can cram in there before it's maxed out.

The back of mine is different than the one pictured. It has the metal rings wich fit my sporran belt, but it also has leather loops that a wider belt could fit through.

Now that I've got a Buzz, I actually find myself wanting to wear a kilt more often, because I can actually find my stuff without having to empty my sporran.

I have a couple of the Kidder sporrans and I think they are very well made. Their shape in my opinion makes it difficult to dig stuff out though. Also as mentioned above they come with a useless chain which needs to be replaced wit a strap.

Are there any that are smaller than average?

My complaints? Well the chain stinks and diggs into your hips, but if you buy a decent sporran strap you'll be fine. Also everything in the sporran winds up a jumble at the bottom, but that's kind of what you have to expect.
Agree. I changed the strap. Also, with the tassels, once or twice I have caught my hand on the reverse fastening inside the sporran. Overall, for the price a great sporran though.
