I remember camera stores in Japan having these toaster oven size plexi and metal cabinets that were for low humidity camera storage...they had a heating element (sometimes just a low wattage light bulb) and a hygrometer inside. Perhaps rigging something like that up might dry it slowly enough.

Low heat is a good method with electronics . . . when I was in college, I worked for a couple of years as an electronics tech refurbishing equipment. While these were removable circuit boards, we would scrub them with soapy water, rinse, then dry in a drying cabinet heated to 100F with light bulbs for a couple of days.
