I'm not going after all. My carpool and buddy fell through, and the trip is just more than I can justifiably spend myself. Sorry guys, maybe Flagstaff or Tucson.

I don't know yet either. It'll depend alot on how tomorrow goes at work, weather, funding, and how me Lass feels.
There's also another 'event' that's attracting my attention down that way as well...

Dang, I can't believe you forgot about that! Remember how I learned that "Burns" is a part of the Campbell clan while we were at the Highland Games a couple of years ago? I just couldn't wait to tell you...especially since you had been bemoaning the Campbells all that day!! I found it rather humerous myself!
(That was the year that my mom went with us and she got me the Burns tartan sash as a surprise!)

Welcome B. Somm. MCC was my old stomping ground before I started at ASU; even after that. It's good to have you here...
Um, I don't drink, but I don't think I should be the designated driver. Just a little joke to RiverKilt .
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

jeez, I gotta either be a designated driver or a designated drunk.
We're lucky enough to have someone coming along who is old enough to have a driver's license, but is too young to drink (can you say automatic designated driver?)

Good news! It looks like I'll be going after all. I'll be carpooling with another athlete I know and competing on Saturday.
We'll be driving in late Friday night, getting a hotel, then competing on Sunday in the B's. We'll have to leave right after so we can get home at a decent time, but come check us out.
I'll be competing in my Leatherneck SWK and I'll likely have my tan floppy hat on.

I'm still up in the air. Reminder, if it hasn't been mentioned. Them Coldstream Guards guys are gonna be in Mesa on Saturday night. A mere $30 gets you a cheap seat. Show's at 2000.
Guessing you might be able to stand in the parking lot and hear it just fine though if the vendors at the games tap you out.
