Probably not. There is very little known about my Hester side. My Dad and his brother rarely saw their Hester relatives in Blackshear, Georgia but grew up with their McKinnon first cousins.

It would appear you and I are related...in a manner of speaking. The McKinnons and MacQuarries can trace a common heritage back, to (if my memory serves...) about 900 a.d. It would seem Prince Gregor MacAlpin had several sons (four, I think), of whom one, Findanus was the progenitor of the MacKinnons, and his brother, Guaire was the progenitor of the MacQuarries.
So, a toast to ye and y'r papa from a long distant relative!!!
