But if you want a FB sporran with a *really* wide mouth opening, go for the Inverarnan or the Inverlochy models.
Those things are like large-mouth bass!
Yep what Matt said.
I can get my hand in well enough to get what I need. I expected that by the smaller cantle description. So, it was of no surprise. I'm just smitten with the furrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......
The elk leather braids are really fantastic too. Very soft. I just LOVE the way this piece looks on my apron.

That, I think, says it all.

Man, that badger looks awsome with the weathered color scheme of your kilt. Cheers!
FB sporrans are, as far as I'm concerned, the best high-end sporrans on the market. Hand craftsmanship really does make all the difference. For Christmas, I found a skunk Glengyle under the tree (and since this is my first post on this forum), here's a picture of it in action:

Hi Ryan!
It's great to have you hear. That skunk Glengyle is a beauty! One of our House Chairmen (Davedove) just bought one of those when I got the badger.
Please pull up a seat and yack with us for a while. We're a friendly lot, and love nothing more than to talk about kilts, tartan, sporrans, history, and you never know what else may pop up!

Hey, Ryan is here! About time!
Hey, buddy, feel like coming up to kilt kamp this June?
http://kiltkamp.scottishtartans.org
Then you could stop having to pay me to make all your kilts. :-) I know just the cloth you could use, too... I have this unidentified black based tartan sitting in my office that I was thinking of making myself something nice with, unless you wanted it..... :-)

Ah, thanks a lot for the warm welcome, fellows.
I imagine I'll be around frequently. Highland dress, tartan, and the history thereof are a big interest of mine. I get up to the Scottish Tartans Museum in Franklin a few times a year and work their tartan info table at the Stone Mountain highland games (and sometimes at the Taste of Scotland). I just thought it'd be fun to get on here and put my two cents in.
Thanks again, guys.

Matt, you're a character!
I just found out about the kilt kamp, but I imagine my grad school obligations will prevent it.
Good call on the tartan though... I swear I'll be up there on the 5th, for the festivities and to get measured! We didn't make it a couple weeks ago, on account of the weather- it was like the apocolypse outside, that day. Really bad weather.
But yeah, it IS about time I signed up here. lol
PS. Hands off the mysterious black based tartan. ;-)
