Sorry for the delay - I have only just been released from 'Cardiff Captivity' and did not see your post until now.

I am up for it, but I will need to check with Jim to see what he thinks. He is coming to Storrington next weekend - I'll speak with him then and let you know.

I would absolutely love to make it for the March Burns night, however with the recent demise of Zoom finding an affordable flight is a daunting task to say the least.

So Robertson, how are things shaping up for 2009 Burns' Suppers?
Who is coming what weekend?

Is it still looking like there will be a table for the big supper on the 25th? I hope so. Any idea what the cost may be, for budgeting purposes?

I've started making my plans. Booked a flight on Ryanair to Edinburgh and return.

Received my new Prince Charlie Jacket and waistcoat today (from Scottishkilts.net, less than 10 days delivery time)

Don't look at me. As soon as they let me out of the Saskatchewan Institute for the Rubber Chickenly Insane (Grant, in some twisted twist of fate got me in here to replace him) I'll be there.

Well it's a holiday here in the US and I'm taking full advantage of my day off from the office. The laundry machines are humming, the electronics are charging and the packing is proceeding for in about 50 hours I'll be presenting myself at Dulles Airport so that I may be subjected to the horrors of trans-Atlantic air travel. :crap:

Ahh well. After the horrid trans-Atlantic flight and some breakfast and / or beer in Amsterdam, ANOTHER flight, a bus ride, lunch and / or beer at Glasgow Central Station and a train ride I should arrive at Ferintosh only a day after leaving home. At that point mad hi-jinks shall ensue. (Well, maybe a shower first)
