    The button on the flap is made of "horn." I dont know what kind of horn but the package assured me it was "genuine horn." I wonder if it is the horn of the rare acryli-beast, and thats why they are so secretive about its origin. I'll never tell. . .

    Never mind the sporran (kudos for great looking piece of work) but what a great looking buckle/belt. Now that I really like the look of.

    Thanks, all the leather I wear (aside from my boots) is hand crafted by me. The buckle is one that I picked up at my local leather shop. It was the only thing large enough that wasnt all westernish. After some adaptation I made it fit my 3 in wide belt. I do rather like the sporran and belt combo, even though I did not try to get them to match so well.
