What am I missing to create an attached image in a message? Went over to the vBadvanced forum FAQ and it mentions a "Manage Attachments" button in the post composition page but nothing like that is showing up.

The reason it will not show up is because we have that particular feature disabled.

Sounds interesting.

I think RiverKilt's post editing issues might be with the dial-up service he uses, and are not related to anything with the forum programming... Just a thought.

Actually, he is blocking Javascript. I've given him a work-around.

For anyone else that may be experiencing this problem -

When you edit a submitted post, the edit takes place via Javascript, to prevent loading separate pages. So when you click on the Edit button, you are taken to a quick editor. Once you make the edit and click on Save, a small progress image appears -

If you find yourself sitting there for 30-40 seconds with nothing happening, click on the Go Advanced button. That will take you to a full editor, where you will be able to save your edits.

Found an album thingie and was able to title an album and write a description, but can't find a way to upload pics to the album. Tried the upload feature but it doesn't give an album as an option. Tried the toggle thingie, that ain't it.

Still low on the learning curve.

Ron, you're not low on the curve, you're stubbornly overlooking the obvious 'thingies'.

Once you create an Album, you give it a Title and a Description.

Then the process of uploading images is really 'difficult'.There are THREE different links, two identified as Upload Pictures and one, right dead center in the album, saying Click Here to Upload Pictures. The reason there is no album option is because you are already within the album.

Look at the attachments, from left to right, and then try to sell me on how difficult these 'thingies' really are. PUH-leeeeeeze...
