Hello & how wonderful to find so many Scots from all over the world!

I am from the Great Clan of Macdonald & married a Harper of Buchanan. One part of my family (on the maternal side) settled in London Ontario in c. 1820 & built the Court House & the Gaol. The Macdonalds arrived either in a clap of thunder or most likely in chains during the diaspora. No one seems to know - or they're just not saying ... The general consensus is that we came from Glencoe apparently thumbing our noses at the Campbells all the way over.
