Jerry McIntyre, whom I'm assisting in the clan gathering area, told me that the opening ceremonies (parade & announcements) are now held on Friday evening rather than on Saturday around noon because of the prostrating heat. Is this new?

I believe this is how it was last year as well.

I'll be there on Saturday during the afternoon. I expect to attend the NTCPD's performance at 1:00 and maybe the Celtic harp performance at 2:00. Apart from that I don't have any other plans, except run around taking pictures.
