My wife said the same thing, after we got over the initial frustration and disappointment. Hence my joke about leaning to the left a lot while wearing it as well, and somebody else's comment about carrying and making good use of a sporran flask to insure that my personal tilt was always present when wearing it.

Congratulations on your kilt - it look fabulous and I know you're going to enjoy it for many years to come!!
My husband's new kilt arrived yesterday - Matt Newsome box pleat in Ancient MacKay. He has pictures posted under the thread "It's Here!!!" MacKay71 under General Kilt talk. Thought it would be easier to direct you to that thread than to repost the pictures. 
Also in the pictures you will see Barb's book The Art of Kiltmaking. (Little gift for myself!) I'm looking forward to trying my hand!
