    Another Win

    Greetings all, 2 September, 742amMST

The "Campbell" kilt, ( with deference to Matt Newsome), took "Best in Show" in it's division at our Western Idaho State Fair this past week.

So that's two big wins. I am humbled and amazed.

Had a note attached to it when we picked it up Monday evening. A piper from a local Fire Department wanted to hire me to make kilts for their band. I politely refused, owing to the fact that I already have a day job, and that it would be a bridge too far to take on a project like that. But the thought was nice.

    Fide et Fortitudine, aye!

That is a very nice kilt (or two!) Would love to see pictures of it being worn!

That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

    Greetings all, 2 September, 1218pmMST

Thanks to all for your kind comments. This one was entered in "Things Made by Men". The Welsh National was entered in "Costuming".
Won a whole whopping $17 in prize money between the two. My wife and I celebrated by going out to dinner. Can't get too far on $17 but for everything else there is VISA.

Outsanding work, and great to have it recognized as such.
