Good work Cav. I like both the blue fade to tartan and the white fade to tartan. If we are going to do to shorts to match I think we should stick with the blue bade to tartan and use the navy shorts. I don't thikn for the shorts you would have to do the fade, though, just fill in the tartan where the white currently is.
Obviously the white fade to tartan would be more visible and probably mroe striking, but I think unless we did a similar white fade to tartan in the shorts panels then navy blue for th rest of the shorts it might look funny.
Great effort.

Hello folks,
Sorry I've been silent, but everyone else has said what I meant to say...
I really like the fade to white idea, and I think I prefer the diagonal tartan thingy! Other than that, I'm just waiting for instructions on where to send my money...
To me, the shorts and the jersey don't have to be the same base colour if the tartan is the same.

Thanks Heming. What are your thoughts on a logo/crest? With or without? If with which one of the above or do you have another to offer?
And to all, I'm trying to get together a decent image to put up of the recent suggestions for a final vote. After the general design is accepted, we can send it off to the vendor and they will put their finishing touches to it (this is the point were the 50% deposit will be needed) and return the submittal for approval before production proceeds. I don't know how much time I will have over the holidays to spend working on it but keep the discussion going.

Well, since you ask, I think "tartan riders" as a slogan is cool, and am less intrigued by the crest idea... But I'm really not very fussy. This will be my coolest bike outfit by far in any case.
I know I'm slow, but what kind of figures are we looking at money wise?

We don't know totals cost just yet. Ball Parking a price from their price listed on the web site it looks like about $45 US for a jersey and $60 US for shorts. This does not include shipping to each individual. They state that these prices are all inclusive but until I send them the design and get confirmation there are no other charges I always assume their could be another fee somewhere

***BUMP UPDATE***
Hi folks.
Just touching base on this. The project is not dead, just busy with several other things at the moment. I have been working with GIMP trying to get a better submital for the design. Hope to move this to the next step soon.

This is still on my list of to-do's. Just been too busy to sit down and mock up the final design for everyone's approval. If anyone knows gimp or photoshop pretty well and wants to take a stab at it send me a PM and we can discuss the details.
