Had a great time at the games yesterday. I am glad I was able to make it into the picture this year. And thank you ASinclair for sharing his quaich with me. There was a lot of things going on I didn't mean to be rude if I was. Next year I may possibly be in my own tent for Clan Thom(p)son, and may have my own to share. Hope everyone else ha a good of time as I did.

Just got back from the games. The weather was great.
I was amazed at how the games organizers are able to get so many people up and down the mountain.
Even the beer and whisky tents were strategically placed at the highest point so that every thing was down hill.
The Gordon pot luck was great as well with over 250 participating.
I will be posting a pictures as soon as I can including Angus10, which was technology to behold.

Another great year at Grandfather! Enjoyed getting to see old friends and make new ones. Also got to participate in the Torchlight Ceremony and the Parade of Tartans - an exciting year!

I'm glad you stopped by the tent after our photo op. It's always great to meet Xmarkers in real life.

Quick correction, while a lot of the general pot luck was around the Gordons, Just about every one brought something and it is considered more of a campground tradition at Castle Seamus than just that of one family. Agree it was great, once again.

Group Photo OP
Well, the good news is I had several Xmarkers gather with me at noon on Saturday for a group photo -
Scottishrebel, Balaamsass51, cookingkilted, and Tartan Hiker
Someone was kind enough to take my camera, point it at us, and click it.
The bad news is, when I looked thru my camera pictures after we got home Sunday evening, there's a picture at our tent at 11:35 and the next picture is at our tent at 12:29. The pictures are numbered without a gap. Hmm....
(Note to self: Make sure there is a picture in the camera before you let anyone leave.)
Sorry about that.
