How about The Royal Oak Pub? Perhaps for an afternoon, maybe 2pm-ish?

@Wareyin there's some Indian ladies in Birmingham that do a great job at reweaving. It ain't cheap though. Something snagged 3 holes in my kilt ranging from pea sized to dime size, gonna cost about 300 bucks to have it mended. Was torn about just sewing patches in myself but it's a hand-sewn Lochcarron 8-yd so I figured on fixing it right. In hindsight, maybe wish I had just put that toward a new 4 or 5 yard kilt.

Oh, wow, I don't think the kilt I'm looking to fix is worth that much! Oh well.
How soon do you plan on moving to Cumberland?

Ok, it looks like this weekend is not going to work, so Saturday, the 30th, at the Royal Oak Pub. @tripleblessed @Creag @Wil @Crawdaddyjc @kingandrew and anyone else I'm forgetting who hasn't told me they can't make it!

Royal Oak is a fine choice. We can wander next door for a coffee afterwards, too. What time shall we meet?

I haven't been there. Would you suggest a lunch or dinner there? Or just drinks?
I am thinking maybe 2pm, unless we'd like to meet for a meal.

I've had lunch there and it's good pub food. But I've got standing lunch plans for Saturday, so an afternoon outing would suit me best. If it doesn't live up to expectations brew-wise, Brass Tap is just around the corner.

Looks to be the poorest excuse for a menu we will ever have attempted. Is this a challenge? There is a possibility I can be there, I'll just have to make sure to bring my own food and drink.

Perhaps we are looking at different menus? The one I found has salads, black bean burgers, as well as vegetarian appetizers. I'm sure they have drinks other than wine, as well.
Regardless, I hope to see you there!
