(for those of you in commonwealth countries - no I don't wear a livingroom sofa in the winter )
Yeah, you've definately been up this way alot. I'm sure you're spent many a cold winter's eve, sitting on the chesterfield, having a soft-drink whilst wearing your tuque.
Canuck-Yank Translation: sitting on the sofa, having a soda, wearing a watch cap (or stocking cap).
For you antipodeans...no clue.
Being an incredible help.

Black or charcoal, mid-calf, 21 oz. works for me. I already have an Inverness rain cape so the waterproofing is not necessary.

Well, perhaps not so soft but other than that - dead on.

Ditto: when will you be starting production, Sir? I would lean towards the charcoal, but as Lionel Ritchie said, I'm easy like a Sunday morning...let me know what you need for measurements, eh?

Allrighty. Charcoal, in the 21oz is a tough find, even from my 2 current sources. I can get a 14-16 from one of them, and a charcoal heather in the 21 from another. Black, no problem.
If anyone is serious, PM me with your info and we'll go from there.
Black, 21oz, custom length on bottom and cape, your choice of full cape or the older style 2-piece. Oh, lined.
$330 CDN. includes shipping via Postal service, insured.
In 13oz, $300, includes shipping.
In 8oz Poly/cotton $200 includes shipping.

Would you be posting a photo of what a charcoal heather looks like on your website or here? I prefer the 21 oz wool, so that means the black or the heather for me: would they be the same cost (or there-abouts)?

Moosehead,
Can you describe "charcoal heather?"
Can you send swatches? Even better, can you create some samples that show the layers that would be on my shoulder? You could take a deposit for the sample that could be returned when the sample was returned to you.
I just don't have any reference for the cloth weights.

I like that one.
Do you have drawings, sketches, or pictures of the variations in the shoulder cape that you've described? I'm having problems visualizing those.

Oh, so now you have posted a picture.
So, how is charcoal different from charcoal heather? Is it the uniformity of colour in the threads? Because if heather means a bit of non-homogeneity, then I am all for it.
