We've been AB-SO-FRICKIN'-LOOTLY NUTS today (just did measurements for 5 jackets... all custom) and 4 Premiers. I won't be able to post pics of the different pleating for a while.
Perhaps someone with a few spare minutes and "photoshop" could cut/paste the pics in different ways to show different pleating? Not trying to "skirt" my duties, but with all the work we have coming up (107 premade casuals for a festival in Feb on TOP of standard orders), I know I won't have time to do it anytime soon.
BTW... Douglas Mod will soon be a choice for "Off The Rack" casuals.

Not Photoshop, but GIMP:

Peated to the red doesn't look too bad, either. I think you'll be hearing from me soon, Rocky.

The colors for the German Heritage are the same as the German National tartan, although the pattern is different.
I do like how the red/white/blue stripe looks with the German American.

The German Heritage / German National are similar colors, but different.
I didn't like the bright red of the German National, so in mine, I used a Dark red (with a "red border"). Also, the gold in mine is a dark yellow, vs. a bright yellow.

It's very similar to Prince Charles Edward Stewart, but has a "rose - pink" (not a bubblegum pink, but a dark "greyish pink") instead of red. Kelly wanted to do something for Mary Stewart, Queen of Scots since she was an important figure and doesn't have her own tartan. Pink roses were Mary's favorite, so Kelly incorporated the color into the tartan.

ALL USAK Registered Tartan materials will be $65 per yard. For this initial run (any order for the tartans listed below placed by Feb 28, 2007), I will eat the shipping cost on whatever yardage is ordered from USA Kilts.
American Heritage: 13 Oz (Due in Beginning of March)
German Heritage: 13 Oz (Due in Beginning of March)
German American: 16 Oz (Due in Beginning of April)
