I know a guy that made his first jump in (over) Chambersburg. He broke his left ankle uponn landing. He then jumped into his volkswagon and drove home to Silver Spring, Maryland. His ankle was as big as a tree trunk by the time he arrived. I dont think he listened to his instructor. But, he never did it again. He doesn't have the VW either.

Congrats to your wife, but I can be absolutely thrilled to watch from the ground. I've never been convinced the plane is perfectly good.

My Dad & Mom live near the airport, where they can watch parachutists all the time... Dad saw a guy fall to his death a few years back. The man didn't follow his training, and... well...
Now, I'm curious: Did the parachuting incident have something to do with him not having a VW, anymore?
